Charlene Clark, BA

Administrative Assistant

Charlene comes to the Alliance as a seasoned University of Washington staff person with experience in several departments including the Health Sciences and Medical Centers, following a recent temporary assignment with the SSW Human Resources/Payroll sections. In addition, she served in a unique role in the Department of Naval Sciences as Secretary Lead for faculty, staff, and students involved in the University ROTC program. Her duties have included scheduling classes, event coordination, faculty hiring processing, and purchasing/travel transactions. She was the main lead between the military and University program in this position. She has a BA in English Literature from the UW. Prior to her professional career, Charlene was a member of pioneering Women’s Cross Country/Track and Field teams at the University of Oregon and Shoreline Community College. When not working, she enjoys exercising, reading, church activities, the outdoors, watching sports, and spending time at home with her spouse and two cats.
