Always start by logging into your profile on the Alliance website

Click on the Login link on the main menu at the upper right.

  1. Click on the "Login" link on the main menu at the upper right as shown above
    1. Once the log in page appears, make sure you are on the "Log in" tab
      1. Type your username or email address into the Username box
      2. Type your password into the Password box and click "Log in"

      3. If you do not see the catalog page within one minute, click on the Alliance for Child Welfare Excellence logo on the blue header.​​
    2. If you do not remember your password, click on the "Request new password" tab and type in your email address or username

  2. If you do not remember your username or if the catalog fails to appear, please contact the Caregiver Help Desk by emailing alliancesupport@uw.edu. Be sure to include your first and last name and your email address.

To get the "Single-Part eLearning certificate"
  1. Click on "My Courses" under your name in the upper right

  3. Click on the word "Certificate" in the second to last column on the right of the row listing the course under "Single-part eLearnings"

  1. Click on "My Courses" under your name in the upper right

To get an ILABS and READi Lab eLearning certificate

You will receive an email message with the subject line "Form submission from: I-LABS and READi Lab Online Training Certificate Request". The email will come from acwewa@uw.edu.

IMPORTANT: The message may not come immediately. Be sure to look in your Junk Mail, Deleted Items, Spam, and Clutter folders. If you do not receive it, you may need to change your email program’s blocking settings to allow the email address acwewa@uw.edu

  1. Click on the link at the bottom of the email message.
  2. On the page showing the details of your submission, click on either of these links at the top

     
    1. Download PDF. This will save the message to your computer. Then you can email it to your licenser.
    2. Print. To be saved in your records.

 

To get the CPR certificate

Note: The Alliance for Child Welfare Excellence does not charge for any courses. If you are asked to pay, please exit your browser and restart using the instructions below.

Important: Because of the current health crisis and until the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) allows us to proceed, we cannot offer the in-person practice. We cannot offer the CPR card until the restrictions are lifted and you can take the hands-on portion. However by following the steps below, you can download the certificate, which is valid even though it is stamped "Incomplete".

  1. Make sure you are logged into the Alliance catalog
  2. There are two CPR courses. Choose the appropriate course and click the links below
    1. CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens Certification for Initial Foster Parent License (eLearning) -- https://allianceforchildwelfare.org/content/cpr-first-aid-bloodborne-pathogens-certification-initial-foster-parent-license-elearning
      1. If you are taking this course as a first-time caregiver, you must check the box affirming you are seeking your license
    2. CPR and First Aid Recertification for Foster Parents (eLearning) -- https://allianceforchildwelfare.org/content/cpr-and-first-aid-recertification-foster-parents-elearning
      1. You do not have the check box.
  3. Click on the blue "Start Course" on either of the above pages
  4. Once you are on the ProTrainings website, make sure the page says "Hello [your name]" in two places
  5. Click on "My Account" on the left
  6. Click on "PRINT WALLET CARD + BLENDED PACKET"
  7. Do Not print the page or the card. Click on "Wall Mount Certificate"
  8. When the certificate appears, in the upper right, click on the printer icon to print your certificate or click on the disc icon to download your certificate
