Eastern Washington University, committed to educating first-generation college students and those from underserved communities, is the lead partner in collaboration with Region 1 of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families and hosts the Alliance Regional Advisory Board on the Cheney, Wash., campus.

The EWU School of Social Work provides specialized education and training for MSW students through the Child Welfare Training and Advancement Program (CWTAP) at campuses throughout the state including Everett, Vancouver, Cheney, and Spokane. Program options include a traditional full-time day program as well as part-time weekend, or week night hybrid programs.  All programs offer an advanced standing option for those who qualify.
